Two Airlifted to Hospital after Greenville Rd Crash in Livermore

Livermore, CA – On the morning of Saturday, July 6, 2025, a single-vehicle collision resulted in critical injuries to two individuals, according to KRON.

The Alameda County Fire Department reports that the accident took place around 7:00 AM on Greenville Road.

Emergency crews responded to a crash in which a vehicle struck a brick wall, shearing off its front end. The driver and passenger were found trapped inside the heavily damaged vehicle and required extrication.

The impact also brought down a power pole, leaving high-voltage lines on the ground and creating additional hazards at the scene.

Due to the severity of their injuries, both occupants were airlifted to nearby trauma centers by helicopter.

Responding agencies included the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department, California Highway Patrol, Falck Ambulance, and Reach Air Medical Services. The crash remains under investigation.

Single-Vehicle Collisions

In some cases, investigations may reveal that even in a single-vehicle accident, nearby drivers or unsafe road features share some responsibility. California’s Comparative Negligence rule means that, even if those injured in accidents are found partially at fault, they may still be eligible to receive partial compensation for damages.

Passenger Liability

Driver liability insurance covers both those outside the vehicle and passengers inside. While it can be emotionally difficult to file a Personal Injury claim against someone close to the victim, the financial challenges after an accident can be overwhelming. As a neutral third party, an experienced personal injury attorney can help to navigate these emotional complexities.
