June 23, 2025, Fresno, CA: On Monday night, a woman lost her life in a fatal pedestrian accident in Fresno.
The accident, according to information provided by Your Central Valley, occurred at 9:45 p.m. on Shields Avenue around the area of Dewolf Avenue. Police confirmed that a 20-year-old Clovis man was driving his Toyota Tundra pickup truck headed eastbound when a pedestrian started to cross the street. The Tundra did not stop in time and struck the woman.
The pedestrian, identified only as an adult female, was tragically pronounced dead on scene due to severe injuries. The driver, who remained on scene following the accident, was not hurt.
