June 18, 2025, Templeton, CA: A hit-and-run accident with injuries took place at an intersection in Templeton early Wednesday morning.
According to information provided by California Highway Patrol officials, the accident occurred at 2:22 a.m. at the intersection of US-101 and Wellsona Road. Officials confirmed that two vehicles were traveling near the intersection when they collided with each other, with one then fleeing the scene.
When paramedics arrived on scene, they determined that one or more parties were injured in the vehicle that remained on scene. The parties were hospitalized for treatment.
The road was blocked for several hours in the area until police cleared the scene. They have not said if they were successful in finding the party that fled the scene as of yet.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the collision remains ongoing.
