June 4, 2025, Fresno, CA: A man was killed in a tragic pedestrian accident that took place at an intersection in Fresno on Wednesday.
According to information provided by ABC30, the accident happened around 5 a.m. at the intersection of Olive Avenue and Cedar Avenue. Police confirmed that a man was walking in the area when he was suddenly struck by a passenger vehicle. The driver fled the scene without stopping to check on the pedestrian.
The pedestrian, who has since been identified as an adult male in his 20s, was rushed to the hospital with major injuries. He was tragically pronounced dead while there.
Police are currently searching home security in the area to try and find the driver who struck the pedestrian. Their investigation into the accident remains ongoing.
