Elk Grove, CA – The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has identified Connor Elliot Lopez, 23, of Galt, as the motorcyclist who sustained critical injuries on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 23, 2025, according to ABC10.
The Elk Grove Police Department reports that the accident took place around 3:50 PM near the intersection of Sheldon Road and Lewis Stein Road.
Reportedly, Lopez was traveling eastbound when his motorcycle collided with an SUV that was making a left turn. Emergency personnel transported him to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The SUV’s driver and a rear passenger were not injured and remained at the scene to cooperate with the investigation. Police have not indicated whether any citations or charges will be issued, and the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
