Crash with Dump Truck at Grant Line, Douglas Rd in Rancho Cordova

Rancho Cordova, CA On the morning of Thursday, March 20, 2025, a crash involving a dump truck in Rancho Cordova left one person injured and caused a hazardous fuel spill, according to KCRA.

The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District reports that the accident took place at approximately 9:48 AM to the intersection of Grant Line and Douglas roads, where a dump truck hauling dirt collided with another vehicle. The cause of the crash remains unclear.

One person sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, the dump truck began leaking fuel, prompting county hazmat teams to assist with containment and cleanup efforts.
