February 18, 2025, Bakersfield, CA: A woman was killed in a fatal motorbike accident in Bakersfield on Tuesday evening.
The accident, according to information provided by Bakersfield Now, occurred at 5:22 p.m. on Cadet Road just east of Petroleum Club Road. Police confirmed that a woman was traveling on her motorbike in the area when it was struck by a passenger vehicle due to reasons that remain under investigation.
The woman on the motorbike, identified as a 55-year-old from Taft, was tragically pronounced dead on scene. Nobody else was allegedly injured in the accident.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident at this time.
