January 23, 2025, Bakersfield, CA: A two-vehicle collision with injuries took place at an intersection in Bakersfield on Thursday morning.
The accident, according to information provided by KGET, took place around 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of Olive Drive and Knudsen Drive. Police confirmed that two vehicles were traveling in the area near the intersection when they collided with each other, leading to extensive damages. One of the vehicles also struck a fire hydrant, breaking it and causing water to pour out all over the roadway.
One person sustained major injuries as a result of the accident. The injured victim was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
