December 30, 2024, Visalia, CA: Two people were hurt in a car accident that took place at an intersection in Visalia on Sunday morning.
The accident, according to information provided by the Visalia Stringer Facebook page, took place around 8 a.m. at the intersection of West Whitendale Avenue and South Demaree Street. Police confirmed that two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to unknown reasons. One of the vehicles went onward into a pole, where it collided and caused the area to lose power.
Both drivers of the involved vehicles were hurt in the collision. They were both rushed to local hospitals for treatment, though their current conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the road was blocked for some time.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident at this time.
