November 9, 2024, Fresno, CA: On Saturday evening, a woman in a wheelchair was killed in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident in Fresno.
According to information provided by Your Central Valley, the accident happened at 5:30 p.m. on Clovis Avenue near the area of Inyo Street. Police confirmed that a woman in a wheelchair was heading across the street on Clovis when a northbound vehicle struck her. The driver continued onward without stopping at the scene.
The pedestrian female was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. She was tragically pronounced dead while there.
Detectives have been searching for the driver responsible for the accident. Their investigation into the accident remains ongoing at this time.
