October 8, 2024, Visalia, CA: Two people sustained injuries in a collision that took place at an intersection in Visalia on Tuesday morning.
According to information provided by Visalia Stringer, the collision happened around 6 a.m. at the intersection of South Burke Street and East Mineral King Avenue. Police confirmed that a white Nissan sedan and a Dodge SUV were traveling through the intersection when they collided, causing extensive damage to both vehicles. One of the vehicles crashed into a pole at the intersection and sustained severe front-end damage.
Both drivers were injured as a result of the collision. They were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Police urged those in the area to avoid the intersection until the scene was cleared.
