October 8, 2024, Fresno, CA: A pedestrian sustained serious injuries in an accident in Fresno on Tuesday morning.
The accident, according to information provided by Your Central Valley, took place at 2:30 a.m. on Blackstone Avenue around the area of Shaw Avenue. Police confirmed that a driver was traveling in the area when they lost control of their vehicle, causing them to crash into a pedestrian and a fire hydrant.
The pedestrian, who has not yet been formally identified, sustained serious injuries in the accident. They were taken to the hospital but they are in stable condition at this time.
The driver remained on scene following the accident but was not hurt.
