September 18, 2024, Fresno, CA: One person lost their life in a fatal bicycle accident at an intersection on Wednesday night in Fresno.
According to a report from ABC30, the accident happened at 9:20 p.m. at the intersection of Elm Avenue and Laguna Avenue. A bicyclist was traveling in the area when they were suddenly struck by the driver of a passenger vehicle.
The bicyclist was tragically pronounced dead on scene as a result of their injuries. Nobody else was hurt in the collision.
California Highway Patrol continues their investigation into the circumstances leading up to the accident at this time.
