The holidays can be a time of fun and festivities, but those celebrations can carry over to the road for those driving home. Someone who has been drinking or has consumed a drug may end up putting multiple other motorists at risk of a devastating accident.
DUI suspects might badly injure other drivers and passengers with their reckless driving. Victims and their family members are often left behind to wonder how to seek justice and hold a DUI driver accountable.

Two people inside the first vehicle were rushed away in ambulances. One of them tragically died at the hospital. The condition of the second patient has not been updated.

Support for Victims and Family Members After a Fairfield DUI Accident
Family members of DUI victims may lose a loved one and immediately be faced with costly financial obligations. Close relatives could face funeral costs and leftover medical fees in a matter of days. They could also endure the loss of the guidance and weekly income the deceased would have supported the family with in the years ahead.
A wrongful death claim is filed against a DUI suspect’s insurance company to help earn spouses and children the support they need to protect their futures.
Victims are also permitted to file an injury claim that seeks reimbursement for every medical cost they receive. An insurance settlement should also replace the lost wages and benefits a victim has forfeited while missing work.
A DUI suspect may face a criminal trial, but that won’t delay a victim’s or a family’s right to file an accident claim. This civil claim can be filed and families can receive settlement support even if a DUI suspect is still awaiting trial.
