A Friday morning accident involving multiple cars sent several victims to the hospital. It happened in eastern Fresno. KGPE-TV reports the accident occurred along Highway 180 near Peach Avenue on July 22, 2022.
The California Highway Patrol says the devastating collision took place around 5 a.m. They found that four vehicles were involved, including a van carrying 5 to 6 people. A car with major damage was also seen at the crash site. Multiple people were rushed to the hospital after this devastating crash. The conditions of the victims have not been released.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. CHP investigators on the scene were investigating whether one driver involved may have been under the influence.
