October 16, 2026, Bakersfield, CA: One person was injured in a hit-and-run crash that took place on a roadway in Bakersfield on Friday afternoon.
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 3:01 p.m. at 201 Roberts Lane. Police confirmed that two vehicles collided with each other in the area, with one immediately fleeing the scene.
When paramedics arrived on scene, they discovered an elderly person trapped in their vehicle. They were able to free them. They were then rushed to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
