Loomis, CA – On the morning of Saturday, August 15, 2026, a two-vehicle collision resulted in a man losing his life at the intersection of Sierra College Boulevard and King Road, according to ABC10.
The Placer County Sheriff’s Office reports that the accident took place around 9:30 AM.
Authorities said the man sustained injuries in the collision and was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Deputies expected to remain at the scene for several hours while investigating.
Sierra College Boulevard was closed between Delmar Avenue and Bankhead Road, while King Road was closed between Bankhead Road and Delmar Avenue. Drivers were asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes, with the sheriff’s office estimating the roads would reopen within about an hour.
