August 28, 2026, Centerville, CA: One person was injured following a truck accident on a highway in Centerville on Friday morning.
According to Your Central Valley, the accident happened at 7 a.m. on Highway 180 around the intersection with Oliver Avenue. Police confirmed that a man was driving a box truck in the area when he was involved in a rear-end collision with a manure trailer due to reasons that remain under investigation.
Paramedics immediately arrived on scene. The driver of the box truck was pinned into their vehicle and sustained severe injuries. He was extricated by fire crews and then flown to Community Regional Medical Center by medical helicopter. Nobody else sustained injuries in the accident.
