July 24, 2026, Santa Cruz, CA: A hit-and-run accident that led to injuries took place at a hospital parking lot in Santa Cruz on Friday afternoon.
According to California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at 3:04 p.m. at 1555 Soquel Drive at the Dominican Hospital. Police confirmed that two vehicles collided with each other in the area. One of the vehicles then fled the scene following the accident.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were called to the scene. One or more victims in the vehicle that stayed at the scene were injured. It is not known if they were hospitalized.
No further details have been released. Police continue their investigation into the accident and who fled the scene.
