Crash with FedEx Truck at American Ave, Golden State Blvd Injures 2 in Fresno County

Fresno County, CA – On the afternoon of Wednesday, July 8, 2026, a two-vehicle collision left both drivers with injuries after a FedEx box truck overturned, according to KSEE/KGPE.

The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 3:15 PM at the intersection of American Avenue and Golden State Boulevard.

Authorities said the FedEx box truck was traveling westbound on American Avenue when a Mazda traveling southbound on Golden State Boulevard attempted to make a right turn at an unknown high rate of speed, causing the two vehicles to collide. 

The impact caused the box truck to overturn onto its left side, blocking the roadway. Both drivers sustained injuries and were the sole occupants of their respective vehicles.

No additional details regarding the identities of those involved had been released at the time of reporting. The investigation remains ongoing.
