Merced County Truck Accidents and Personal Injury Claims
California law requires commercial truck drivers to operate their vehicles with a duty of care toward those they share the road with, including maintaining proper lane discipline and adjusting their driving to conditions at all times. When a driver crosses into oncoming traffic and causes a head-on collision, that driver and potentially their employer may bear liability for the resulting injuries.
Both drivers airlifted from the scene may have the right to pursue a personal injury claim. A personal injury claim can provide compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering, and other damages related to the accident.
