July 3, 2026, McFarland, CA: A big rig accident that led to injuries took place on a major roadway in McFarland on Friday morning.
According to Visalia Stringer, the accident occurred before 7 a.m. in the northbound lanes of CA-99 near the Pond Road intersection. A big rig and a vehicle collided with each other in the area due to reasons that are not entirely known, leading to extensive damages.
Paramedics and other responders were called to the scene to help. One victim was taken to the hospital by medical helicopter.
Due to the severity of the crash, there was a 2-mile backup in the area for some time. The road was fully cleared by 7:30 a.m.
