According to California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 3:08 a.m. at the intersection of US-101 and Arroyo Seco Road. Police confirmed that two vehicles were traveling on the highway when they collided due to reasons that are still being investigated. One vehicle caught on fire following the accident.
