Fresno, CA – In the early hours of Thursday, June 25, 2026, a pedestrian collision resulted in a man losing his life in central Fresno, according to ABC30.
The Fresno Police Department reports that the accident took place just before 12:30 AM at Blackstone and Olive Avenues.
Authorities said the driver was traveling southbound on Blackstone Avenue approaching Olive Avenue when the vehicle collided with the man. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver remained at the scene and was cooperating with investigators. Drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash.
