June 21, 2026, Bakersfield, CA: A woman tragically lost her life in a fatal pedestrian accident on a road in Bakersfield on Sunday.
KGET reported that the collision happened at 9:15 p.m. at 500 Brundage Lane in Bakersfield. When police arrived on scene, they discovered that a woman was crossing the street when she was struck by a male driver in a Ram pickup truck. The driver remained on scene following the accident.
The female pedestrian sustained major injuries in the accident. She was tragically pronounced dead on scene as a result of those injuries. Nobody else was hurt.
