June 4, 2026, Modesto, CA: A car accident that led to major injuries occurred at a Modesto intersection on Thursday afternoon.
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident took place at 2:43 p.m. at the intersection of SR-1 and Swanton Road. Police confirmed that two vehicles, including a gray Toyota Prius and an unidentified vehicle collided with each other. The vehicles were badly damaged, with one smoking following the crash.
