May 15, 2026, Madera, CA: A three-vehicle collision with injuries took place at an intersection in Madera on Friday afternoon.
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 4 p.m. at the intersection of Avenue 12 and Road 40. Police confirmed that three vehicles were involved in the accident with each other. These included a Toyota Tacoma, a BMW sedan, and a white pickup truck. One of the vehicles caught fire after the accident.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were called on scene. At least one or more victims sustained injuries and were hospitalized due to the accident.
The road was blocked in several lanes of traffic for some time.
