May 6, 2026, San Luis Obispo, CA: Injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident that happened at an intersection in San Luis Obispo on Wednesday.
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 4:20 p.m. at the intersection of US-101 and Shell Beach Road. Police confirmed that two vehicles, identified as a Honda and a Volkswagen, collided with each other in the area due to reasons that are still being investigated.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties sustained injuries and were hospitalized. Their conditions are not yet known.
