Bicycle Injury Crash at Buena Vista Avenue and Burke Street in Visalia

May 3, 2026, Visalia, CA: An accident involving a passenger vehicle and a bicyclist took place at an intersection in Visalia and led to injuries on Sunday.

According to Visalia Stringer, the collision happened at 8 p.m. at the intersection of Buena Vista Avenue and Burke Street. Police confirmed that a bicyclist was traveling in the area when they were struck by a passenger vehicle at the intersection. The driver fled the scene, causing them to drag the bicycle with them for some time.

The unidentified bicyclist was injured as a result of the accident. They were rushed to the hospital by ambulance.

Police did not say if they found the driver responsible for the accident. Their investigation into the collision continues.
