April 17, 2026, Porterville, CA: A pedestrian tragically lost their life in a pedestrian accident that took place in Porterville on Friday night.
According to Visalia Stringer, the accident occurred at 8:26 p.m. at 600 North Newcomb Street in Porterville. Police confirmed that a female adult pedestrian was walking in the area when she was struck by a passenger vehicle due to reasons that are not entirely known.
The pedestrian was severely injured and transported to the hospital for treatment. However, while there, she tragically passed away due to her injuries.
