April 6, 2026, Fresno, CA: A woman was tragically killed in a fatal accident that happened at an intersection in Fresno on Monday morning.
According to Your Central Valley, the accident occurred around 2 a.m. at the intersection of McKinley Avenue and Fresno Street. Police confirmed that two vehicles collided at the intersection, causing the vehicles to land in the canal off the side of the road.
Police said the driver of the first vehicle fled the scene. When police located the second vehicle in the canal, they found a woman inside it. She was taken to Community Regional Medical Center where she was tragically pronounced deceased.
Fresno Police are still trying to locate the first driver. Their investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
