April 1, 2026, Visalia, CA: An injury accident involving a work truck, a sedan, and an SUV took place at an intersection in Visalia on Wednesday morning.
According to Visalia Watchdog, the accident occurred at 8:45 a.m. at the intersection of Fairway Street and Caldwell Avenue. Police confirmed that a white Kia was headed eastbound on Caldwell when the driver attempted to change lanes. The Kia slammed into the side of a work truck. This caused the work truck to jump over the divider, where it hit a maroon Lexus SUV. The work truck then slammed into a pole before coming to a stop.
The driver of the SUV was injured in the accident and taken to the hospital for treatment. The driver of the work truck sustained an injury to their arm but it is not known if they were taken to the hospital.
Due to the severity of the crash, one lane of traffic was blocked for some time.
No further details have been released. Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident at this time.
