Antelope, CA – A fatal vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash was reported late Thursday night, February 12, 2026, at the intersection of Walerga Road and PFE Road, according to CHP Fatal.

The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place at approximately 11:14 PM in a residential area near Morgan Place Park and Wilson C. Riles Middle School. Initial reports indicated a vehicle struck a pedestrian at the intersection.

Authorities have not released the identity of the pedestrian and will only release the name after notifying next of kin.

At approximately 12:07 a.m., officials requested a tow truck for a white Honda Civic involved in the crash. The vehicle was identified in dispatch records in connection with the incident.

By 1:11 a.m., authorities reported the roadway had reopened. All responding units cleared the scene shortly thereafter.

The circumstances leading up to the collision remain under investigation.
