Stockton, CA – In the early hours of Wednesday, February 18, 2026, a single-vehicle crash resulted in fatal injuries to a 64-year-old man, according to FOX40.
The Stockton Police Department reports that the accident took place around early morning hours at the 2900 block of North Pershing Avenue.
Authorities said the 64-year-old man was a passenger in a car involved in the crash. He sustained critical injuries and was transported to a local hospital for emergency medical treatment.
Despite life-saving efforts, he later died from the injuries he suffered in the collision. Officials have not released his name, pending notification of next-of-kin.
Traffic officers responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
