Fresno, CA – On the evening of Friday, January 30, 2026, a hit-and-run pedestrian collision resulted in major injuries to an unidentified man, according to KFSN.

The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place just after 8:00 PM near Bullard Avenue and West Avenue.

Authorities said the man was crossing Bullard Avenue in front of the north Central Fresno fire station when he was struck by a white 2016 Honda Accord. Investigators reported that the driver briefly stopped after the collision before fleeing the scene without rendering aid. The pedestrian sustained major injuries and was transported to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment, where his condition was not immediately available.

CHP said the suspect vehicle is believed to have front-end damage consistent with the crash. Surveillance video from a nearby business captured the incident, and investigators are using the footage as part of their ongoing search for the driver. 

Officials stated that the driver is expected to face felony charges, including hit and run, once identified.
