Two-Vehicle Crash with Injuries at Oregon Street and El Serento Drive in Bakersfield

February 20, 2026, Bakersfield, CA: A two-vehicle collision with injuries took place at an intersection in Bakersfield on Friday afternoon.

The accident, according to California Highway Patrol, happened at 12:15 p.m. at the intersection of Oregon Street and El Serento Drive. Police confirmed that a black SUV and a white sedan collided with each other due to reasons that are still under investigation. The vehicles sustained severe damage in the accident.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were present on scene to help those with injuries. It is not known how many were hurt as a result.
