January 5, 2026, Santa Cruz, CA: An accident that led to injuries took place at an intersection in Santa Cruz on Monday morning.
According to California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 10:55 a.m. at the intersection of Sims Road and La Madrona Drive. Police confirmed that two vehicles collided with each other after entering the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and other emergency responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Injuries were reported. It is not known how many individuals were taken to the hospital.
