January 7, 2026, Coalinga, CA: A two-vehicle collision with injuries took place on a highway in Coalinga on Wednesday afternoon.
According to California Highway Patrol officials, the accident happened at 2 p.m. in the northbound lanes of I-5 close to the area of SR-145. Police confirmed that a sedan and a blue SUV collided with each other in the area due to reasons that still remain under investigation.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties were injured and hospitalized.
