January 9, 2026, Modesto, CA: One person was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident that took place at a Modesto intersection on Friday.
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 12:38 p.m. at the intersection of SR-132 and Hazel Dean Road. Police confirmed that a motorcyclist was traveling in the area when they were struck by the driver of a passenger vehicle at the intersection. The motorcyclist was thrown off their vehicle and onto the road.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help. The injured motorcyclist was rushed to a local hospital with major injuries. Their current condition is not yet known.
