San Luis Obispo, CA – On the afternoon of Wednesday, January 14, 2026, a two-vehicle collision injured two people, according to The San Luis Obispo Tribune.

Police reported that the crash occurred around noon on South Higuera Street near Coastal Peaks Coffee. Investigators said a Kia attempting to make a left turn entered oncoming traffic and collided with a southbound Jeep.

Both drivers sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision and were transported to a local hospital for treatment. No life-threatening injuries were reported.

Authorities said both vehicles sustained severe damage in the crash. Traffic on southbound South Higuera Street was temporarily reduced to one lane while emergency crews and officers responded and cleared the scene.
