November 21, 2025, Merced, CA: Injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision that took place at an intersection in Merced on Friday morning.
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 11:25 a.m. at the intersection of SR-165 and River Road. Police confirmed that a silver Hyundai Sonata and a blue van collided with each other, causing the Hyundai to veer off the side of the road and into a ditch. The vehicles both sustained severe damage as a result.
One or more parties suffered injuries as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals, though their current conditions are not yet known.
