November 18, 2025, Fresno, CA: A man was killed in a fatal pedestrian accident involving a big rig on a highway in Fresno on Tuesday.
According to Your Central Valley, the accident happened around 10:30 p.m. that night. A 25-year-old male pedestrian was walking at northbound Highway 99 around the area of Clinton Avenue. Police confirmed that he was suddenly struck by a Volvo big rig with a trailer.
The driver of the big rig, identified as a 21-year-old man, stopped at the scene and cooperated with police. The 25-year-old pedestrian was tragically pronounced dead on scene as a result of his injuries.
No further details have been released at this time. California Highway Patrol continues its investigation into the collision.
