Fulton, Marconi Ave Crash Injures 2 Adults, Young Boy in Sacramento

Sacramento, CA – On the afternoon of Sunday, November 23, 2025, a two-vehicle crash left a 5-year-old boy and two adults injured, according to ABC10.

The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 1:45 PM near Fulton Avenue, just south of Marconi Avenue.

Authorities said that the crash occurred when a woman driving an SUV attempted to turn onto southbound Fulton Avenue from a parking lot on the east side of the road. At the same time, a sedan traveling at approximately 40 mph in the No. 1 lane broadsided the SUV on the driver’s side. Vehicles in the No. 2 lane had stopped ahead of the collision, but the sedan was unable to slow in time to avoid striking the SUV.

The woman driving the SUV suffered injuries described as moderate and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. A 5-year-old boy riding in the rear of the sedan also sustained moderate injuries and was taken to the hospital. Another adult involved in the crash complained of pain and was treated at the scene before being transported to a hospital as well. In total, three people were hospitalized following the collision, according to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District.

CHP officials noted that none of the individuals involved were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. Authorities said this factor may have contributed to the severity of the injuries.

Emergency responders worked at the scene to assess and treat those injured before the vehicles were cleared from the roadway. No further details about the conditions of the patients have been released.

Personal Injury Claims & Comparative Negligence

Determining fault in a collision can involve multiple factors, and under California’s Comparative Negligence rule, several parties can share partial responsibility. Should evidence reveal that another party contributed to the injuries, victims may be eligible to file a Personal Injury Claim with the responsible party’s insurance, which can provide compensation for medical bills and lost wages during recovery.

Ongoing Investigations

Victims of traffic accidents and their families should be aware that authorities may fail to note or even misinterpret critical evidence at a crash site. One of the services that a Personal Injury Attorney can provide is to pursue follow-up investigations, which can reveal additional evidence to correct any errors made by previous investigators.
