October 22, 2025, Bakersfield, CA: Early Wednesday morning, injuries resulted from a head-on collision in Bakersfield.
According to KGET, the collision happened at 6:19 p.m. on Edison Road near the area of Muller Road. Police confirmed that a 50-year-old woman was driving south on Edison while a 21-year-old woman was driving north on Edison. The 21-year-old suddenly veered into the other lane of traffic, causing a head-on collision with the other vehicle.
Both female drivers involved in the accident sustained major injuries. The parties were rushed to Kern Medical for treatment of their injuries.
No further details have been released at this time. California Highway Patrol continues its investigation into the accident.
