August 4, 2025, Fresno, CA: A pedestrian accident involving a suspected DUI driver took place at an intersection in Fresno on Monday night.
According to ABC30, the accident happened around 8 p.m. at the intersection of Channing Avenue and Florence Avenue. Police confirmed that a pedestrian was struck by a driver in the area of the intersection.
The pedestrian, identified as an adult woman, sustained a broken leg in the accident. She was taken to the hospital for treatment of her injuries.
Officers say that the driver was allegedly under the influence at the time of the accident. They have not announced any charges as of yet.
