August 29, 2025, Fresno, CA: Injuries were reported in a pedestrian crash that took place at a bakery in Fresno on Wednesday morning.
The accident, according to ABC30, happened in the early morning hours at the La Boulangerie bakery on Shaw Avenue. Police confirmed that a red Toyota Prius was traveling in the area when the driver lost control of their vehicle, crashing into the bakery’s outdoor patio. Two individuals who were seated outside were struck by the vehicle.
Both pedestrians sustained minor injuries in the accident. They were treated on scene and it is not known if any were taken to the hospital.
The driver allegedly pressed on the accelerator instead of the brake, leading to the accident.
No further details have been released. Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the collision at this time.
