August 16, 2025, Visalia, CA: On Saturday night, two people were injured in a serious accident that took place at a Visalia intersection.
According to the Visalia Stringer Facebook page, the accident occurred at 9 p.m. at the intersection of Caldwell Avenue and Mooney Boulevard. Police confirmed that a Hyundai was traveling in the area when the driver ran a red light, striking a Mustang at the center of the intersection. Both vehicles became disabled as a result, blocking the intersection for some time.
Two people sustained moderate injuries as a result of the crash. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Drivers in the area were urged to avoid the intersection and use alternate routes for some time.
