Ashcroft, Marks Ave Pedestrian Crash Injures Adult, Child in Fresno

Fresno, CA – On the night of Wednesday, August 13, 2025, an adult and a child were transported to a hospital following a vehicle collision in northwest Fresno, according to ABC30.

The Fresno Police Department reports that the crash occurred shortly after 9:00 PM at the intersection of Ashcroft Avenue and Marks Avenue. 

Officers determined that the adult pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while crossing the roadway with the child.

Police stated that the adult received medical aid at the scene before being transported to the hospital for further treatment. The child, who was not struck by the vehicle, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The current conditions of both individuals have not been released.

Authorities reported that the pedestrians were not in a crosswalk at the time of the collision. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and has been cooperating with investigators. 

The cause of the incident remains under investigation by the Fresno Police Department.
