July 9, 2025, Watsonville, CA: A police officer was injured in a motorcycle accident in Watsonville on Wednesday afternoon.
The accident, according to information provided by KSBW, the accident occurred at 4 p.m. at the intersection of Airport Boulevard and Holm Road. Police confirmed that a Toyota Tacoma was traveling in the area when they collided with a Watsonville Police Department motorcycle at the intersection due to unknown reasons.
The police officer was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries. He has since been released. The driver of the Toyota was not hurt in the accident.
California Highway Patrol continues its investigation into the circumstances of the collision at this time.
