Tulare County, CA – On the evening of Sunday, July 6, 2025, a two-vehicle collision in Richgrove resulted in fatal injuries, according to CHP Fatal.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the accident took place around 7:22 PM near the intersection of State Route 65 and Minneola Avenue.
The crash involved a white Ford F-350 pickup truck and a white minivan. Preliminary information indicates that one of the vehicles overturned during the impact, and debris was scattered across the roadway.
Emergency responders arrived on scene and initiated traffic control measures while assessing the situation. A hard closure was implemented in both directions of SR-65, with traffic diverted to alternate routes, including Banner and Snow Queen. The road was fully reopened after midnight on July 7.
One or more individuals sustained fatal injuries as a result of the collision. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.
Authorities have not disclosed the cause of the crash, and it remains unclear whether speed, impairment, or mechanical failure played a role.
